Finally, ada juga drama Melayu yang akan jadi tontonan wajib saya buat masa ni.

It's Gemilang baby!

Sinopsis :

1977 Sekolah swasta yang pertama di pedalaman yang diusahakan oleh seorang anak muda yang berwawasan. Matlamatnya mudah – untuk mengubah nasib anak-anak remaja yang gagal dalam pelajaran – tapi perjalanannya masih belum pasti.

Saifullah membuka Institut Gemilang supaya dia boleh memberi peluang kedua kepada pelajar-pelajarnya. Mereka yang gagal atau yang tidak dapat menduduki peperiksaan MCE dan HSC amat dialu-alukan di sekolahnya.

Dia tahu dia mampu untuk mengubah hidup pelajar-pelajarnya. Kalau bukan semua, sekurang-kurangnya sebahagian daripda mereka. Dia berjanji tidak akan berputus asa terhadap mereka asalkan mereka tidak berputus asa ke atas diri mereka sendiri.

 

Saifullah, Umar, Asma dan Ruhana adalah guru-guru yang pertama di sekolah itu di mana mereka akan bekerja sebaik mungkin untuk masa depan pelajar-pelajar mereka. Konflik, permusuhan, cinta dan benci akan hadir antara cikgu-cikgu ini.

Cerita ini kadangkala lucu, kadangkala menyentuh hati tetapi sentiasa memberi inspirasi.

I was strucked the first time I watched it, mostly because:

(a) ..it's about school, and teachers!!!

(b) ..the cinematography..SUPERB!!

p/s : I always looking forward for a teacher+school-related movie that will inspire me just like LASKAR PELANGI did, and I hope this brand new drama will.

Sangat Berbaloi

I'm referring to my entry which I was helping my friend promoting an amazing tafsir Al Quran. There were a few orders came from friends and family members. So I bought one for myself plus gifts for my mum and grandma. The Al Quran arrived this morning and I fell in love with it. Memang sumber rujukan yang sangat lengkap!

Amazing features:

1) Size nya besar so tulisan2 sangat clear

2) Pedoman terjemahan huruf2 Arab-Latin

3) Setiap perkataan diterjemah (melayu) terus di bawah setiap perkataan arab, malah tafsir ayat yang lengkap juga ada di bahagian tepi setiap page

4) Setiap page juga disediakan ruangan catatan (kotak kosong)

5) Huraian tanda2 bacaan beserta contoh (ada banyak Al Quran yang menghuraikan tajwid, tetapi tak banyak yang menumpukan kepada tanda2 bacaan)

6) Ada free gifts ~ Al Mathurat Wazifah Kubra and penanda Quran (biasa sebut penanda buku) yang dilengkapi tanda2 waqaf, hadis nabi, doa sujud tilawah dan ayat2 Al Quran yang hampir sama

7) And this is the feature I love the most; klasifikasi ayat-ayat Al Quran mengikut topik2 yang SANGAT terperinci. This is why I said it can be sumber rujukan utama. Kalau ada apa2 masalah or keraguan tentang apa2 sekalipun, just cari topik/subtopik/keywords and terus rujuk ayatnya. Mudah kan.

Anyways, jumlah yang saya order dah habis so kalau berminat, try la cari di mana2. If jumpa and ada rezeki lebih, beli la. Tak rugi beli Quran. Kalau benda2 lain kita sanggup spend 100-200, inikan pulak Quran. =)

I'm just trying to share with you guys, khairal 'ilmi wa khairal 'amali. ;-)

A friend of mine suggested this drama and when I knew it's Khabir Bhatia's (Cinta and Sepi's director) I guess the cinematography will be very nice and the storyline is surely an emotive one. And I'm correct. So far~ Hehe. The shots taken were very dramatic and meaningful.

So let's watch.
