I changed the wedding ticker from months to days and I freaked out.

Syawal this year was a bit emotionally driven. (or am I making a big deal about it?)

Semua kat kampung asyik mengingatkan betapa ini raya terakhir saya boleh berhuhahuha. Yes I knoowwww already. Pagi raya pun saya dah emosional bila fikir lepas ni raya takkan sama dah. When I have 2 families, everything will change. I kinda expect that. Sebelum cuti raya lagi saya dah diingatkan yang saya kena enjoy puas2 sebab lepas ni nak kena 'berebut giliran'. Erm..bila fikir pasal tu memang hidup saya tak aman. Sejak kecik saya tak pernah tengok mama abah ada problem pasal raya since they are both from Raub. Tiap2 tahun sure akan beraya kat both kampung. Cuma masa kecik2 dulu je bergilir sembahyang raya kat belah mama ke abah. And percaturannya mudah, kalau sembahyang raya kat belah mama, giliran bermalam kat tempat abah lebih banyak, and begitulah sebaliknya. Sekarang, kami hanya bermalam di kampung mama since dah ada family yang memang menetap kat kampung abah. So balik sana just singgah beraya.

Saya balik ke 2 kampung tiap2 tahun. And saya still nak keadaan kekal macam ni sampai bila2. Pada saya - cuti raya seminggu, takkan seminggu penuh kat 1 kampung. Macam tak adil kan siapa yang buat macam tu? Lainlah kalau 1 lagi kampung tu kat Indonesia ke, London ke, yang memustahilkan korang balik both kampung, itu accepted lah. Tapi kalau both dalam Malaysia, banyak cara nak berlaku adil. Kena ingat, masing2 pinjam anak orang. Suami/isteri, both ada mak ayah yang nakkan anak2 diorang raya dengan diorang. Raya ke berapa tu tak penting, yang penting balik.

Saya harap walaupun dah kawin nanti, raya saya taklah disaster sangat seperti mana yang orang selalu kata.

I'll be missing these moments, yes? I hope I don't have to.
